This has got to be the most popular team in Belgium. Having riders such as Tom Boonen, and the late Johan Museeuw.
On my most recent visit to Belgium to see the start of the 'Gent-Wevelgem' the Quick Step team had their own space for their team coach with barriers around it and plenty of staff to help protect the riders. They were like the royalty team, compared to the other teams and any new people to cycling would have guessed that they were the most popular team.
